World of Warcraft : Warlords of Draenor begins Alpha testing

You know, I believe we're lucky to WOTLK Gold have four huge IPs in the form of World of Warcraft , StarCraft, World of Warcraft , and now World of Warcraft . Also, you can find Heroes which is a sort of of an amalgamation of all of the kind of borrowings from the various pieces of the IPs.

And I think that is very powerful. I'm thinking of going back to an earlier discussion where I talked about these IPs and their ability for the majority of them to accommodate different kinds of gaming and experiences, it's something that we're always on the lookout for.

Personally, I believe there are always characters and great stories, as well as plenty of games and plenty of games that we could build in the existing games we have. I think there's plenty space and space for this. However, in the same way, it's important to think about something new as well.

These two are essential. Fans want more StarCraft games. I'm a fan, I too want more StarCraft games. Fans want additional World of Warcraft games. As a fan, too want more World of Warcraft games. Fans want new IPs also, I do too.

Also, when we think about as a matter of "What kind of IP should we use and how should we think regarding it?" The team holds a lot of decision-making authority on that. But we also need to be aware of the games and IPs the teams are particularly thrilled about. What IP can be used for different kinds of games.

I believe that the fact that we have these IPs that contain these stories, time spans, or stories about games that exist with them -- I consider it an asset. I don't see that as a liability. I think the ability and desire to make new is also important, and we've proven that it's possible with World of Warcraft , and we'll show it again in the future.

A first-person-shooter based on StarCraft seems to have become Blizzard's white whale. There was a report recently of a project that was one of the first-person shooters set in the StarCraft universe being cancelled, and then of course, there was StarCraft Ghost. Is that idea something that you'd still like to explore?

I'm thinking one thing I would mention is there's been some recent news stories about games we haven't moved forward on, however internally, it is known that 50% of games we begin actually take off.

So the fact that we're not moving forward on buy WOW WOTLK Classic Gold this game or on that game could be a sign that Blizzard is working as usual. I'm sure of it. games we've launched haven't shipped due to reasons of some kind and the vast majority of people don't have their names out of Blizzard. It doesn't really get much attention.
