Oh yeah, that's definitely true

  • Yep. I know Nintendo have stated that they will be releasing updates for Animal Crossing Bells two years or so, but honestly that is too slow for many players. At this point I am beginning to think they purposely withheld content so that they could add it afterwards. How else could they know that they've"two years" worth of content to include?

Oh yeah, that's definitely true. And it is annoying many gamers because the content they are withholding was available in earlier games and principles of their franchise (it seems odd to make us wait 1-2 years for Brewster, for instance ). They clearly need to milk this sport for so long as they could (even more so now that it's turned into a huge victory as a result of Covid).

Exactly! We haven't even gotten any genuine new content besides... pumpkins? Every update so far has only been incorporating things from previous games. While it's wonderful to have upgrades to pull me back to the game it'd be even more difficult to include new characters/events/furniture that we haven't seen before.I thought it was just coincidental that the game was released through lock down. Now I really don't know what to believe

There's a lot of things missing but a ton of improvements too. Nowadays, I am not really surprised when a new software (including games) neglect to include features of the past iterations. The missing places I can understand with the frequent updates and it seems to follow the Animal crossing cellular game version, but things such as: villagers moving in and out houses, requesting to Animal Crossing Items For Sale visit your house, hide-and-seek type miniature games, arbitrary actions like kicking around a soccer ball are thing which gave villagers lifetime
