OEM Aluminum Die Castings Production KnowledgeProduction Knowle

  • With our country's cars and motorcycles. With the rapid development of home appliances and other industries, the shapes of industrial products are becoming more and more diverse and more complex while meeting performance requirements. However, manufacturers of such products are inseparable from molds, which requires the mold manufacturing industry. To produce molds at the fastest speed, lowest cost, and highest quality. In order to meet these requirements, mold companies can only use advanced management methods and integrated manufacturing technology to avoid being defeated in such fierce market competition. So when producing OEM aluminum die-casting parts or other die-casting parts, such as OEM Aluminum Enclosure , there will always be many problems. Next, let’s talk about the two most important and common problems.

The first point: Why can't the machining allowance in the hole of aluminum die casting exceed 0.25mm?

In order to be suitable for die casting, humans have added a lot of silicon to the aluminum alloy used for die casting. When the aluminum alloy condenses in the mold, the silicon will float on the surface to form a film. The hardness of this film is very hard and very wear-resistant. Some OEM designers will use this feature to say that the inner surface of the die casting is directly counted as the bearing surface. The silicon surface layer is generally only 0.2mm-0.9mm thick. If it is processed too much, the life of the bearing surface will be relatively shortened.

The second point: Why do aluminum die castings have black spots when they are polished?

There are several reasons for the formation of dark spots. It may be the formation of silica or alumina. Of course, the solution is very simple, just use fresh aluminum ingots. However, the biggest possibility is from the release agent. It may be that too much release agent was sprayed or the organic content in the release agent was too high. At the temperature of hot-melt aluminum, some of these organic substances are reduced to carbon elements, and some become macromolecular polymers of travel notes. The mixture of these carbon molecules and polymers is included in the surface layer when the aluminum casting is formed, and becomes the black spot we see. We can reduce the concentration of the spraying agent or choose another spraying agent or lengthen the blowing time after spraying, thereby reducing the formation of carbon elements and preventing the accumulation of macromolecular polymers.

The above are the solutions to the two most common problems encountered in the production of OEM Aluminum Die Castings or other die castings.
