1. Vacuum aluminum die casting technology
The vacuum die casting method is to evacuate or partially evacuate the gas in the cavity and reduce the air pressure in the cavity, so as to facilitate filling and removing the gas in the alloy melt, so that the alloy melt fills the cavity under pressure and solidifies under pressure to obtain dense aluminum die castings. Compared with ordinary die casting method, vacuum die casting method has the following characteristics:
(1) The porosity is greatly reduced;
(2) Die-cast aluminum die castings have high hardness and fine microstructure;
(3) The mechanical properties of vacuum die castings are higher.
In recent years, there are two main ways to evacuate cavity gas by vacuum die casting:
(1) Directly pumping air from a mold;
(2) Place the mold in a vacuum box to pump air.
2. Semi-solid aluminum die casting technology
Semi-solid die casting is a kind of slurry with solid components of about 50% or even higher in the solidification process of liquid metal aluminum, and then passes through die casting technology. At present, there are two semi-solid die casting processes: rheoforming process and forming process. The former is to transform liquid metal into a specially designed pressure injection molding machine, which is cooled into semi-solid slurry by a screw device and then die-cast. In the latter, solid metal particles or sundries are put into a spiral compression molding machine, and semi-solid metal particles are die-cast under the conditions of heating and shearing. At present, in order to realize the automatic production of semi-solid forming, the following technologies need to be developed:
(1) Self-adaptive and flexible bar transportation;
(2) Precision die casting lubrication and maintenance;
(3) Controllable cooling system for aluminum die castings;
(4) Plasma degassing and treatment technology, etc.
3. Extruded aluminum die casting technology
Extrusion die casting, also known as "liquid metal forming". The cast aluminum die castings have high density and high mechanical properties, and do not need risers. Some enterprises in China have been applied to actual production. Extrusion die casting technology has excellent technical advantages, which can not only replace traditional die casting, extrusion casting, low pressure casting and vacuum casting technology, but also be compatible with differential pressure casting, continuous casting and forging and semi-solid rheological casting technology.
