The Journey is EA Sports FC 's first attempt at a campaign mode

  • Muller receives a high rating in FC 24. even though his score might not be so impressive if it was simply based on raw data. By taking into  EA FC 24 Coins account the insight of its 9.000 data reviewers, EA can produce a recreation of the international football scene that fans will be able to recognize.

When EA showed off FC 24 at E3 2022 with two new trailers, the most intriguing part of the announcement was a new gameplay mode called "The Journey." In FC 24. The Journey will allow gamers to play as a single character named Alex Hunter as he attempts to become a star on one of the 20 English Premier League clubs.

Now, EA Sports FC fans are able to get a sneak peek of what The Journey will offer via a free demo for FC 24 that went live this week. It should be noted, however, that the campaign is only available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners can still download a basic demo of FC 24 but will not have access to The Journey or the title's advanced Frostbite engine features.

The Journey is EA Sports FC 's first attempt at a campaign mode, and the developer seems to have gone the extra mile to make the experience feel authentic. FC 24's Premier League clubs will feature their real-life managers, meaning that Alex Hunter will have the opportunity to work directly with some of the most recognizable coaches in the sport.

While The Journey is getting most of the spotlight in this year's game, FC 24 will still offer plenty of traditional gameplay. That's to be expected, as EA Sports FC is one of EA Sports' longest running series and has achieved a popularity level in Europe and elsewhere on par with the Madden football series in the States. This year's tagline promises that players will be able to "own every moment" and the game will feature an active intelligence system for off-the-ball play and new attacking techniques. It's also highly likely that FC 24 will feature prominently in EA Sports' plans for eSports once the title releases.

Last year's title made waves by introducing female teams to the franchise and even put U.S. Women's Soccer star Alex Morgan on the game's cover. But The Journey has the potential to shake up the EA Sports FC experience even more. Plenty of sports games including other EA Sports titles have featured career or story modes over the years, so The Journey isn't exactly a new idea. However, it will be interesting to see how it is implemented into The Beautiful Game. If The Journey can offer something unique without detracting from the more traditional gameplay options, it's quite possible it could become a permanent fixture in the franchise.
