In the end, the player will be walking a fine line and will be required to make sure everything is right on the field in order to make the team's roster.

    D.J. Fluker, Offensive Tackle, San Diego Chargers

    Philip Rivers can attest to the extent to which the Chargers offensive line struggled in 2012. First-round draft pick D.J. Fluker will be in a position to make it to the starting line-up among the league's toughest fronts. Fluker isn't a good fit for left tackle due to his heavy feet , and could even struggle with right tackle early in his career. He'll be able to play in the early stages but is he fit for it?

    Cordarrelle Patterson, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings

    The Vikings are hoping Cordarrelle Patterson can help ease his loss Percy Harvin. Patterson is a versatile player using the ball hands however, he's not as good as Harvin in many aspects to his playing. The preseason is when the Vikings will likely place much pressure on Patterson to try to make him comfortable with Madden NFL 24 rapidly. It'll be interesting to see how they manage to make him a part of the team.

    Ziggy Ansah The Defensive Line, Detroit Lions

    The word "raw" was mentioned in nearly every conversation about BYU defensive end Ezekiel Ansah, prior to the Madden NFL 24 Draft. The combination of speed and strength led him to be drafted in the top five, though, and that draft position is accompanied by the expectation of being an early contributor. Based on how fast Ansah has grown during his college career, the next chapter of his career should be exciting to follow.

However, fourth-rounder Brian Schwenke, a center out of California is the inside player to watch in training camp. He was described being a "ordinary tools" person, but could get a crack at a starting job from day one.

    Adrian Peterson erased any and all doubts about his capability to heal quickly when rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1 this past season. This was just eight months after undergoing major surgery to repair a torn ACL , MCL. However, news broke this week that Peterson did not fully recover from hernia surgery he had in January, however, the team is hopeful that he will be back with OTAs by May, and perhaps even free-strength training in the latter part of April.
