After trying several different methods, we've stumbled upon the one 2K23 MT that has worked and cleared up all of the freezes in our MyCAREER save.It is believed that this issue is due to the clothes that your MyPLAYER is wearing . The freeze occurs just prior to the fashion walk before the game triggers.Shop Now: Officially licensed NBA Apparel & Gear at the NBA Store.This bug was discovered by players working on Palace Intrigue and Courting Calloway quests in The City, so it's not entirely clear what's the cause.
We found a few inventory items in the below image that include plus signs to indicate a brand bonus but are lacking the icon, and several of them are tied to previous quests that could have caused this.Before beginning our next NBA sport, we took out the following items: We aren't able to confirm the item that caused the issue, but they do appear to be the culprit. Calloway's Court items seem most likely to be the culprit since they've most Recently been handed out.
In any case, if you're encountering this problem during the Courting Calloway or Palace Intrigue quests, we recommend to remove all of them after a game restart in order to test if it can fix the bug.For us, the removals did keep the game freeze from happening , and also allowed that MyCAREER save to continue without issue.2K will hopefully have an update coming soon that will have an improved fix that is more durable and this fix will keep things at bay until then.
