For aluminum honeycomb panels with a honeycomb core length of 4mm, a panel thickness of 1mm and a total thickness of 10mm, the 180 peel strength measured is about 4N/mm. The aluminum honeycomb panel has poor adhesion and weather resistance, and the adhesion performance is greatly reduced after one year of use. The aluminum honeycomb panel produced by this process is not suitable for outdoor use, but can be used for indoor decoration partition.
2. The bonding strength of aluminum honeycomb panel produced by epoxy adhesive film process is low. The 180 peel strength measured for aluminum honeycomb panel with honeycomb core length of 4mm, panel thickness of 1mm and total thickness of 10mm is about 4N/mm, but its bonding resistance is good and its peel strength decreases little after one year of use. The disadvantage is that the bonding layer of the aluminum honeycomb panel is brittle, and the aluminum honeycomb panel will delaminate after long-term vibration.
3. The bonding strength of the aluminum honeycomb panel produced by the continuous composite process of thermoplastic adhesive film is 3-5 times that of the aluminum honeycomb panel produced by the first two processes. For the aluminum honeycomb panel with regular hexagonal honeycomb core with 4mm side length, 1mm panel thickness and 10mm total thickness, the measured 180 peel strength value is about 18 N/mm. Its adhesiveness and weatherability are good, and its peel strength decreases little after one year of use.
Due to continuous production, the aluminum honeycomb panel has high efficiency and can meet the requirements of short-term mass supply. The disadvantage of this process is the high price and huge investment of the plane continuous thermal compounding machine. Thermoplastic adhesive film is a special hot melt adhesive film. The adhesive film itself must have high cohesive strength and tensile strength, which can ensure the bonding of aluminum honeycomb panel. If a common hot melt adhesive film is used, the bonding strength is very low, and the 180 peel strength value is only 3n/mm.
