  • It's a huge moment for Diablo. The launch of D2R Items Immortal and you've also shown some the gameplay of Diablo 4. Rod as the overseer for the Diablo franchise, can you provide us a status report on the Diablo franchise? Where are you at and what would you like it to be?

    Rod Fergusson: I think there's never been such a great time to be a Diablo fan or Diablo player. We have Diablo on the market, and it's been on the market for 10 years but even in the most recent season, Season 26. we have 150 million hours of play.

    In reality, we've just passed over 65 million people who played Diablo. The month of September saw Diablo 2: Resurrected come back, and we had more than five million players returned to play D2:R. It's an old hardcore PC game which is now remastered and is now available on console as well.

    Immortal has launched and is our most exciting free-to play mobile experience. It is able to reach a many more players. It also reaches those 3 billion gamers who might only play on mobile. So, you can have that free-to play on mobile , they can play wherever they are.

    With no barriers to entry, it could mean that lots of people will be able to play Diablo. Of obviously, we'll have Diablo 4 coming really soon and it's just the cherry of buy diablo 2 resurrected items the sundae. We're excited about that feeling of returning to darkness as Diablo 4 represents.
