Jagex have announced after 18 years of being the main PvP battleground, Duel Arena will be leaving RuneScape and a new region has been added. RuneScape is set to release Het's Oasis featuring a brand-new terrain, new skills and two new mini-quests you can try.
The game will begin today with Oasis Restoration the players will be charged for the transform of the Duel Arena following a cataclysmic earthquake that has devastated the arena. Players will need to collaborate to transform the devastated arena from "a bloodthirsty fighting pit, where legends have made a living from one-on-1 match-ups, to a serene paradise."
The players will work to rebuild the area and take on daily tasks that will reward them based on their progress. Participants in the event for community members will receive exclusive event rewards that include a new name, a crocodile as a pet, outfits with desert themes, and Gators' footwear.
After the two-week-long community event the new area will be called Het's Oasis - an area of learning and exploration with new skill-related materials for those seeking to improve their Agility, Farming and Hunter skills.
"Heroes can also aid in the battle against God of Death in two Eye of Het mini-quests as they delve into Het's Tomb to search for a powerful object that can help the young gods as part of the Elder God Wars saga," the press release states.
In a fresh event that will run from now until December 3, 2022 players will be able to receive a new version of the iconic "Partyhat" it's an item initially available during a Christmas event that was held in 2001. It was originally available in red blue, yellow, green and purple. It is also available in white, RuneScape's "The Golden Party Hat Hunt" quest allows players to unlock one of the highly-sought cosmetics with a shiny sheen.
