  • A lot of what I believe has made OSRS is the total amount of space they have available to make upgrades. For example, you look at the desert and half of it is missing. Whether or not there exists empty space around the continent that is original and morytania is only now being filled out, they can always make more room. As long as they keep the validity of the grind in balance with the osrs gold paypal fun/rewarding part of RuneScape, I don't see how this MMO could falter. The late game power-creep is kind of linear but it doesn't take away from the grind of spending tens of thousands of hours maxing your accounts, completing each the quests, and moving through additional'superfluous'content that fills our experience out of RuneScape along with RuneScape planet, (believe castle wars, and pest management, barbarian attack, and also in the past things like stealing tears and creation of guthix).

To the friends I made and dropped on osrs

Osrs in a year and I haven't played with. I received a notification regarding the year anniversary of my own osrs homies today in my notebook. Man that purchased back some times. The nostalgia element was what bought me into osrs. I remember attacking cows at Lumbridge for hours grinding xp and walking around the f2p map aimlessly just bringing back memories. It was in the Grand Exchange where I met with the very first buddy Ian. Ian was performing a giveaway and I managed to acquire some thing that I was thankful for. Ian and I got talking. From there we'd meet nearly everyday at the GE and just chat, I stopped grinding xp and simply began to embrace the social aspect.

Our friend team climbed as Abbie, Kat and Omar joined and began to participate in our discussions. Though we lived in various nations, we managed to meet almost day at a time that was suitable to all. Again though, we were out of different backgrounds, we always found some in common to chat about whether it'd be music, politics or something different. This lasted for around 6 weeks until everyone started going separate ways. Abbie was going through some personal stuff which she confided with us. We offered her guidance about how to manage those issues that she was thankful for. However one day she ceased meeting and stopped logging in. I hope she is OK as she had to take care of a lot of stuff.

Omar got left and membership us to mill xp. He seldom meet up with us after this as the period we had been meeting was inconvenient in his timezone although he did leave a message or two once in a while. Kat finally grew out of RuneScape and just stopped logging in. Myself, I needed to deal with stuff as well, my grades sucked as I had been studying a course I did not like along with other things stressed me out. Finally because of growing out of RuneScape and personal stuff I left as well. Those 6 weeks were a few good times and fond memories. Hopefully 1 day we could all get on osrs and meet up in the Grand exchange once again then chat like the good times.
