Never understood OSRS player's obsession with MTX. Many grind for RS Gold different things on this forum, focusing on bosses or clues. titles, collection logs, pets, money. Experimentation is nothing more than an obstacle in the way of getting the things you want, and this is pretty true of OSRS as well. The 30k XP that you receive from your daily keys is nothing when you're getting 500k/hour or more.
They offer so much free xp to encourage people like you to actually try the game instead of dying to a giant mole and quitting because it's too difficult. Are you sure that the potential to purchase XP for the price of 1 million XP + 1 hour of time is the reason anyone doesn't play the game?
Every bank standing skill requires special portables from TH in order to perform effectively. I used them only to perform two tasks, and failed to place one. They also cost about 4k each. But at the end of each day Oldschool or any pre-eoc/mtx version of RS is likely to become more well-known because it is more distinct and has more credibility to skilling and game accomplishments that is what has was always what made Runescape excellent, the thrill of getting that 99 youve been hoping for.
You act like this is something that anyone in OSRS takes seriously. or something OSRS even does not have. I topped out in OSRS for 2014 but if you compare that vs today is both day and night. Race nats 25k/hr for money. Multilogging was a shady crime. Slayer's speed reached 30k/hr. Smithing was basically superheating gold at 100k/hr. Now you have a blast furnace that is 3-4 times that. Mining was 2g2s in nature and was only feasible on two worlds because ore respawn times were based on player population therefore everyone had to compete in those two worlds. Even then it was only 60k/hr. used to have to buy bones 100 at a time , by trading with players in game, today you can just make an offer to buy 40k bones or some other thing.
The idea is that the game always has the potential to improve and if you would like any new content to be relevant it has to be of use. If it's not better than the current content it will have no use after release, just like the majority of OSRS updates. If you do not recognize the difference between adding new methods of training and Treasure Hunter then IDK what you should say.
In addition to oddments, I was able to purchase stars, it was reaching the point that, with my daily keys and the odd twitch prime promo I could get unlimited double XP for any skill I decided to train. Going for 120 arches? Dump my daily keys and stars into that and I couldn't make enough use of it.
It is completely game-breaking and ruins the whole point of buy cheap osrs accounts mastering a skill. You feel no accomplishment. I agree that RS3 is more about bossing and log the game to completion. If you didn't stop there, I'd be in no problem with anything else you wrote.
