Rangee says in the FAQ document that was obtained by P TV

  • Another victim claimed that the scheme was attracting "so many people who signed up" that Rack and Raangee (another NBA 2K player) came up with NBA2king an FAQ document that explains how the scheme worked.

P.TV has obtained a copy of a document in which Raangee said he was "the person who can get opportunities for individuals" as Rack, Calvin and another accomplice who does not appear to belong to the NBA 2K community dealt with the financial aspects of the plan. P.TV did not get in touch with Calvin and has decided not to publish his name.

"First of all I'd like to state that what we're doing here is not even illegal," Rangee says in the FAQ document that was obtained by P.TV. "If it was illegal I would not be doing this because I don't believe that any amount of money is worth going to jail. Remember that if it was a scam, I as well as [Rack] would not spend the effort of publishing our names so that others could see. I love this community too much and I have spent a lot of time to make myself visible."

To summarize it was believed that victims were made to believe that if they gave an amount of money to Calvin the company, they would get reimbursed (by Rack) with unusually high interest rates. In addition, Raangee will receive a 25 percentage cut as a type of fee for recruitment. "He [Rack] usually sends an acknowledgment of what's due, and the payment is received in between 7 and 14 business days due to the security of his bank," the FAQ document claims.

"Most banks typically take between 5 business days maximum for Buy MT PS4 transfers, but Rack's bank is different to the standard." Initially, the participants we spoke with said that they received the promised money from Rack however, after which communications went quiet. A lot of victims say they did not receive money at all from Rack. If they inquired about their funds, the fraudsters would either come up with excuses or ignore them.
