The game is currently in playtest Dark And Darker Gold. Please give them some slack i still hope that there will be more depth to combat or mechanics. Maybe not mordhau levels but between chivalry , and what the game is currently at minimum dodging.
Give the game time and dont bother with the 'git gud' people, all negative feedback (actual critique) is valued as feedback by the developers. Let's just hope they do listen.

An expansion of the basic structure to counter the suggestion
I've said it in several other threads but I am sharing it here in hopes that those who believe in this message will actually embrace this message by continuing to leave comments and vote for it, and then keep it on the front page of the discussion tab, above all the stupid stuff.
The current combat form specifically melee but broadly across everything , is sort of a foundation that desperately needs to be expanded on to enhance game play, retention and close the gap between gears.
Current issues: Combat is all about movement or let's call it positioning, along with the gear you're sporting and what your health bar is cheap Dark And Darker Gold. Other tools may be a factor until you get into melee.
