What players aren't going to find is a wide D2R Items variety of body types, if not in each class. The Barbarian is a hefty and well-built for their job within Diablo 4's five classes. The class of Sorcerer/Sorceress looks sturdy enough to be able to lift books and wands, however they're far from as lean and athletic-looking in comparison to the Rogue.
Body type, it is revealed, is associated with class roles as an aspect of Diablo's fantasy, said Rod Fergusson, executive producer and head of the Diablo franchise at Blizzard Entertainment.
"Body shape is something that we believe is part of the class's fantasy," Fergusson said in the roundtable discussion, noting that the developer made the characters of a "'dad body' Druid and an emaciated Necromancer" on purpose. "Those are a part of what make the class the class, in some ways, and so the idea of having a dad-bod Necro or an emaciated Druid did not really fit into the class's fantasy.
"We tried to give the most variety possible in terms of there [beingan abundance of ethnicities , hairstyles and markings and eye color But there were some things that made the class the class, and for Diablo 4 it was body type."Body types and archetypes of class are also interwoven into Diablo 4's armor and gear designs, as well as the various other accessories that are part of the class, Fergusson said. In other words, making armor that suits the bulk of a barbarian's torso would be difficult to scale down to a 90-pound version of the same class. "The primary idea was to give you the most high-level choice you could get in the Diablo game," Fergusson said. "We wanted it to be more about your personalization , andpersonalization], but your barbarian still an actual barbarian. It's going to be robust buy D2R Ladder Items not a wif."
