  The initial period of WoW Classic is being dubbed the Season of Mastery, and it will feature a few modifications, as described in detail by Blizzard in a recent blog post. The most notable of these changes is the speed at which you can level. Season of Mastery servers will offer more experience points on quest turn-ins.   WoW Classic Season of Mastery will also be more difficult. The players went through WoW Classic's content originally, having more that a decade's worth of experience and the fact that WoW Classic ran on a patch that was released late in the game of WoW rendered many encounters with raids to be a breeze.

  
  

  Blizzard is expected to boost the health of several bosses in raids and will be restoring mechanisms to make raids challenging while also removing the boss debuff limit of 16. That means more classes can use more of their skills on bosses. This should expand the scope of what classes and specializations are applied to content at the end of the game. Instead of the usual three or four month cycles like in WoW Classic, content will be released each two month instead.
