Another thing Animal Crossing New Horizons Items with megathreads that rely on pictures, there is no way to comment images at this time, so the consumer would have to upload the pictures off themselves and post it. Which may be a huge hassle.
Can codes and questions be combined? Folks already place their codes from the questions thread regardless of the rules anyway. That leaves a spot open for a daily/weekly megathread for other subjects. Or make the codes thread its daily/weekly scheduled post together with the other ones and keep the questions ribbon. I think those threads are nice and all, although the fact that they take precedence over major news or events is weird.
I mean it's your choice. Would you like more rules and to need to track the subreddit more? Or do you need to leave it as is and continue to risk that the hostility in the remarks on the more controversial articles like the memorial + edited pics posts, which would likewise need to be monitored more?
Or do you need users to get the expectation that everything they want can be found in some specific threads on a particular schedule? I think that it works out nicely for another subreddits that take action. And frankly, to me, setting up automod to conduct the threads and then simply tracking the lower quantity of articles sounds like less work.
Regardless of the fluffy nature of this game, this community can be unbelievably rabid when something that they don't like gets published. I report these things as I see them, but I see the poisonous posters continue to post here and wonder if it even does any good. Like I reported someone who had been all over a thread telling people to eff off and things a few weeks back and they had been posting the next day just like nothing had occurred. You can't ever make those sorts of people/situations move away, but you may attempt to lessen the chance of these happening by acnh buy bells structuring rules and things around them clearly.
