Grinding Gear Games announced its next Path of Exile 3.12 expansion announcement, which is scheduled for September 1.
The extended schedule was shared on their official forum over the weekend. As they explained, extension 3.12 will actually be developed in a 13-week timeline, and they said this:
"Regarding the production cycle, we usually count 13 weeks as a cycle, so we release an expansion every March, June, September and December. Due to the reason that we have been working from home before, the development of Harvest has been affected, and the total cost is It took 14 weeks. As we pointed out in the link above, this means that we need to develop one of the extensions within 12 weeks to make up for that wasted time. Our intention is for this 12 weeks We develop our 3.12 expansion on the timetable, but due to the ambitions of the alliance, we believe that the various consumptions of POE Currency in week 13 are much safer. Therefore, although technically speaking, this does not deviate from our normal timetable, But later than we initially pointed out."
As for the release date, the release date is set for September 1. The release date of Expansion 3.12 (the name is not yet known) will be September 18 for the PC and September 23 for the console. This means that their current league Harvest will end on September 14 PDT 3p. Between now and the release of 3.12, the league activities have not ended.
