PSO2: Episode 5 Debuts New Courses, Greater Level Cap

  • The wait is over for Phantasy Star Online 2's Episode 5. There is a new story, updated features and PSO2 Meseta even a new course to enjoy. Episode 5 seems to be a significant departure from Episode 4, since there are tons of new items to experience along with a new, high level cap of 90 to achieve. Here's what to get excited about in PSO2 Episode 5, and why to return if you're tired of battling a ship. The first Scion Class, Hero, is here. Unlike regular classes, there are requirements to unlock Scions, and they tend to play otherwise. To play Hero, you should have any two level 75 classes before speaking to Cofy to unlock it. It can't be utilized as a Sub Class nor have one, so playing it means only using Hero.

It will have quite an arsenal, however, having the ability to use Swords, Twin Machine Guns and Talis efficiently. Since its a brand new class, there will also be a brand new Hero character that will help you out and provide you new quests to practice with. A new ability has been added; however, it takes you to play through the story to unlock some of them. Dark Blast permits players to become one of four Black Falz, such as Hyunal or Angel, equipped with exceptional, powerful attacks and buffs for a limited time. It is kind of like a Photon Blast, however much more impressive since you take on another form. These forms can be leveled up by simply using them, and things can be spent to boost each form's skills.

Episode 5 leaves Earth behind and contributes to the ARKS world class. An anomaly happens, and you end up in a new world named Omega situated in a dark hole using old and new characters battling corruption once more. Omega is designed with fantasy in your mind. You will find castles, dragons, siege-like quests and kingdoms all surrounded by something that they call magical, but players will recognize as photons. It sounds like another detour from the original three Episodes, but it comes back around to events with Oracle, and a lot of the lore is explained. Just make your way throughout the story to find out.

Buster Quests are a very important part of Episode 5, together with lots of the story's battle quests with their mechanics. These new quests are also accessible at the quest counter and can be carried out with the eight-player multiparty. They are very similar to the Apprentice Urgent Quest, where gamers must work together to protect towers from oncoming enemies. However, there are lots of new mechanics which make this fresh with how it's more siege-like.

After protecting the towers, weapons are set up and need to be shielded to breach the castle at the other end of the area. When it's breached, everyone has to make their way to the boss -- that the castle itself. Buster Quests get gradually more challenging as their level could be built up like Extreme Quests. Of course, new quests imply new things, however there are also new awards to be got and buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta a new store to cooperate with them.
