The fact that Rogue is the lockpickers is cool .... however lock picking is not a good idea. Its almost impossible to unlock something with animation or screen lag. It's not even giving you the chance to unlock something that starts at the top. In addition, it doesn't even have the Red component of the GOOD portion? what?
Rogues are awash with damage-reduction options when viewing their abilities from a balance point of view.
50% plus 50% plus 30% plus 5 % plus 100% plus x % plus flat plus base plus this plus that.
It means rogues either 1 tap or do nothing. It makes starting rogue feel awful. They do like 7 damage when they stab players. 14 however, with their low strength stats reduces their strength less than the base. If combined with armor or flat reductions, the reductions are too high early on.
I was meditating as a wizard with the armour and the shield flat. I completed a complete meditation as a level 1 rogue stabbed the me with 15 many times. I retreated and shot him. How can that be "fair"? Or "fun". He couldn't kill me because I was on a box that he couldn't break with dagger and the character was blocking his body from the way up. There was nothing more than chest shots he could use to kill me. I was stabbed for five or four minutes. I ended up with 70 percent health. Most likely a green pot could have fully healed him. Instead, they can give them an blue short sword, and they will 1 tap barbarians.
Outside of cheaters/netcode/etc hard wired can be fixed with release issues. Damage scaling has to be more in line with defense scale. In the moment, damage is exponential, quadratic and uncoordinated cheap Dark And Darker Gold.
