The possibility of a "Classic" Version that is a classic version World of Warcraft 's 2008 Wrath of the Lich King expansion is rumored to be on some of the packs, while a recent survey by Blizzard provides clues as to what type of microtransactions players could anticipate when the game's official announcement.
According to Wowhead the players were asked their opinions on a variety of add-ons that are available for "the new World of Warcraft Classic package" and how attractive they would be in a bundle. The items that were mentioned in the survey include characters with boosts to levels up to 68. special character boosts for the new Death Knight characters, mounts that work in both Classic and the Live version of WoW Character transfers as well as exclusive pets and much more.
The survey will offer two additional bundles that players can purchase and ask which one they would prefer to pay for. One bundle includes a once-in-a-lifetime level boost to 68 characters as well as the Death Knight character boost, and a toy worth $50. The other comes with a character boost reward (to be gifted to another player) as well as a transfer of character mount for use for use in WoW Classic and modern WoW and 30 days of gaming time for just $30.
