It was not literally the first thing he did. Turael was talked to by him first. And there were definite"I" icons, which are commonly known in games (and sites and programs ) to have information of RuneScape gold if they're clicked on or hovered over. The wardrobe interface had advice he immediately closed and didn't bother to read. You're right its not literally the first thing that they see. Nevertheless, they didn't spend the first 10 mins off island trying to navigate MTX therefore its still among the things that they did. That's awful though and still confusing?
I'm convinced a large amount of RS Runescape players have experience too many other MMORPG's since MTX is right from the gate/after tutorials. I will admit they need to do a much better job of trickle feeding, and its overall look. Hide it and push Solomons save a little more than TH. Most games I've played have their decorative store front and centre in the menus or as pop ups. I also think they should follow other MMO's concept of GIVING the Runescape player lesser things from TH, such as little prismatic celebrities (put in a tool tip stating what it does, and how to acquire more when hovering over it) that way they can get an idea of what they're gont be spending for when they need another celebrity in the future.
They have to do a better job of directing people! Right in your face BS that you gont close. Plenty of games I've played will give you xp potions or nostrums for free or as a quest reward, that boost xp gained for certain activities(roughly the same as pris stars along with other bxp items) Overall it seems far more attractive than"Spin to win!" Right off the bat just to get a taste of what there is to offer. The whole"This one's about the home" method of presenting MTX will continue better in the future with fresh Runescape players that I think. In spite of both free keys.
They do provide you with 2 when you are a member or a key. However, I think the overlap to buy RS gold between people who play with games and that play mmo's isn't that big. So I am curious the way Jagex goes on this. Mobile games are kind of a different monster that make the people who can afford it feel just great enough they are prepared to blindly spend the cash very quickly and they either continue and invest more or less leave.I'm conscious of the two free keys I mentioned, but they should plop one in the new Runescape players stock for a way to lure them into Treasure Hunter instead of blasting it directly in front of their face right from the start. Most complaints I see on here are all about how in mind the total MTX thing is. This could he a better approach.
