The Rams were able to win their third Super Bowl title in franchise history and the first since the shift back home to Los Angeles in rather dominating way, edging out the Bengals 38-20. That score also doesn't give justice to the previous half shellacking L.A. handed down en-route to a championship.

After a quiet two matches to start the game by both clubs, the Rams were able to score in a way that was quite controversial. On a third-and-12 situation at the Cincinnati 34-yard line Matthew Stafford uncorked a deep ball to Van Jefferson on the left side of the end zone. The officials initially ruled that the ball was out of bounds, however a challenge on the part of Sean McVay led to a reverse and the Rams ascending, 7-0. In full disclosure, it didn't look like Jefferson had two feet in bounds, however the virtual officials felt otherwise upon reviewing the situation (Maybe the games on video have become more real! ).

The Bengals have responded to that touchdown drive by the Rams by scoring their own. Joe Burrow completed a pass to Tee Higgins, who tied the game at seven, but L.A. quickly matched that score with a drive across the field and Odell Beckham Jr. scoring a touchdown of 7 yards passing for a 14-7 score.

At this point in the game that the Bengals began to lose their way in the dust.
