Maybe it's my age and wisdom gained over the span of about 10. I understand Zanik much more. I used to OSRS Gold for sale sympathize, but I now sympathize and understand her so much more and when re-reading what she said.and my potential response.I cried just like I did back then, just a little. So, after stating that to her, she states:"Yeah, possibly. It's just difficult to stay positive sometimes." I cried a little more, because I, sympathize with and know that her strife. I imagine you can find people in our current social climate which feel the same exact manner that Zanik does, and it hurts me to consider so. Maybe even more because they are human and Zanik is only a dope Cave Goblin however, it hurts to think anybody, could ever feel like this.
Anyway, shedeclare she is ready to return to the council, and'll sigh after saying that. Ready to take any punishment that they could give her. The council gives her a chance when you return. She explains why she did it, but doesn't excuse it. She says she'll accept whatever her punishment is. You are given an option by the council. You shield her actions, talk about how she is a fanatic, can say nothing, or note she's a fantastic person. I note she is a person that is good. After that, I say nothing else as to me it's simple to say she's a hero. To which she doesn't appear upset over In the conclusion of all that, she is exiled. She says that her woeful goodbye to you. In this case I asked her how she was, and where will she go.
She speaks about how she'll be fine, and she has gone to the surface plenty of times, how she could stay with the land goblins or even go on a few adventures of her own that made me grin because you in a sense influenced her to search her own experiences, such as you. When you notice the way you could go with her, then she insists that you don't, stating she wants to sort her mind and think about her fate in my present place right now, I sensed that hard, I'm at my crossroads. She happily notes she surely see you again.someday. You say goodbye. She leaves and takes her sphere out. Poof. No matter how many times I play this questline, some of the hardest parts of you're saying goodbye to her, and you do it a few times and it never gets easier. I won't stink anymore since you should go play this exploration and enjoy it yourself, but damn if this part doesn't hit me in the feels every time.
Why I love it and the resonance that this certain part has in our present climate, I only wanted to share how this exploration made me feel. Also, to exemplify Zanik is an ABSOLUTE BOSS of a personality and I miss her so much. I basically geeked out and recapped part of this pursuit. But not sorry. Also to note that Jagex may mess a lot of stuff up but their storylines still strike on me. Agreed. Zanik is a great character and was. Folks don't like her much where it feels she doesn't belong anymore because she has been. And some of her reworks were frightful.
I really don't think people hate Zanik as a character but rather has a problem with how Jagex is putting her she does fit into. The Mighty Fall is the ideal conclusion to her story arc, particularly if you opt to spare her. Her story should have only ended there with her leading the Bandosian to recover Yu'biusk, to take her fate into her own hands and providing"the Chosen Commander" a whole new meaning: not as a commander in the war of a god she despises, but as a commander of a people to reverse the previous mistakes a tyrant had driven them. If Jagex wants to bring her back, I could even argue this opens up the possibility of a future new Yu'biusk narrative.
Rather where she's honestly quite out of place, then she kinda became the representative of the Underworld in Desperate Times, which doesn't fit her personality at all. Her whole story has been about freedom and independence, about resisting a destiny. Reducing her role to an emissary can simply be described as"odd" at best. Like why put her into a role she's nothing to do with when her narrative has a very good conclusion? Then. She became the Bandosian digsite's surface well.
I wouldn't go so far as to state those developments ruin her characterization, but they certainly seem unnecessary disappointing at worst. They serve no real purpose concerning character development, and just appeared to make a good end gratifying than it might have been had the narrative ended right there at the Mighty Fall.
