Material Properties Of Bearing Rollers Suppliers

What are the general bearing materials?

The bearings of cylindrical roller manufacturers are composed of inner and outer rings, rollers and some accessories. Generally, the main body of the full complement cylindrical roller is GCr15, that is, high carbon chromium bearing steel. For some inner and outer rings with large cross-section and thick wall or rolling elements with large diameter, the manufacturer will use GCr15SiMn with better hardenability.

High carbon chromium bearing steel is a solid hardened steel, its surface and interior are hardened, it is the best raw material for full complement cylindrical roller bearings.

Depending on the place where the bearing is used, some bearings have special requirements for materials, such as impact resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, etc. Carburized bearing steel is used for the rings and rolling elements of large bearings that are subjected to large impact loads during operation. This carburized bearing steel is carburized within a certain depth range on the surface of chrome-molybdenum steel, chrome-nickel-molybdenum steel and other materials. This way it will have a tighter tissue and form a hardened layer. The hardness of the central part is slightly lower, so that it will have good internal impact toughness.

Bearings that work at high temperatures should use high-temperature bearings with good heat resistance. In the production process of bearings, the process of high-temperature tempering is essential. For those corrosion-resistant bearings, it is better to use stainless steel as the material.

So for the bearings of bearing rollers suppliers, what kind of material is used depends on its working characteristics.
