Face of the Franchise. EA Sports has made what was previously known as Superstar Mode Face of Madden 22 coins the Franchise. I'm personally disappointed with Madden 21's Face of the Franchise, however EA Sports promises "more customization" in this year's version which may enhance the experience.

Madden 20's Superstar KO was released in the middle of Madden 20, and quickly became a fan favorite. This year, Superstar KO will have an elimination mode for co-op.
It's only the second Madden cover ever featuring two athletes. Madden 10's initial cover featured Troy Polamalu (both stars from the previous Super Bowl) and Larry Fitzgerald (both Madden 10's second cover). We see again two stars from the Super Bowl. But we also see the cover of the same sportsman and it's the first occasion we've ever seen this in Madden history. Tom Brady first made the cover in Madden 18 and Patrick Mahomes made the cover only a few years back on Madden 20.
