This game received much criticism from players. Much like with the sequel, its microtransactions left a bad taste on the palates of a lot of those who bought the game. NBA 2K10 introduced the highly well-liked MyPlayer as well as Association modes that will be used in the series' future entries.Though the game did fairly well with critics, a lot of gamers were not happy with the online features of the game as well as a number of bugs and technical issues which can lead to very slow frame rates.
